Ashley Cory
MSW, LSW
My name is Ashley Cory, I am a licensed social worker, and I have been a therapist since completing my master’s degree at Indiana University Indianapolis in 2015.
I am passionate about assisting clients in solidifying their self-esteem and self-worth as a child of God, in an ever-changing culture of comparison. I have a love for working with teenagers and young adults experiencing a variety of challenges and struggles with life transitions. As a mom of four, there is a huge part of my heart that is devoted to working with new moms and helping them navigate perinatal mental health challenges. I am a certified Pietra fitness instructor and strongly believe in the benefits of using prayer and movement together in a mindfulness-based approach to mental health. After discovering my daughter is highly sensitive, I developed a special interest in working with highly sensitive women to understand the unique talents and traits that God gave them, and how to utilize that to thrive.
I believe in a holistic approach to therapy. My approach is client driven and strengths-based, and I encourage input and feedback from clients to ensure that our time spent together is impactful, insightful, and collaborative. I want you to feel safe, relaxed, heard, and understood throughout the therapy experience, and I am honored to walk through that journey with you.
